    Dunno about the serial number, but that's some fancy-looking gibberish scrawled on the notebook paper above it! :p

    Hey, I've sold 5-of-a-kind (5 of the same digits in any order) on eBay for $3 before! Haha

    It is considered a triple number Bookend
    872 87 872

    and a Trinary Serial number.. only 3 numbers 2, 7 & 8

    Maybe about $5.00 this time on Ebay

    Personally and respectfully, you could probably make up a term or nickname for any random 8 serial numbers on a currency note and there might possibly be someone out there willing to pay you more than face value. I have never heard of a triple number bookend. Just ask yourself, would you pay a premium for this heavily circulated note with this serial number ?

    Once again, if you like it, keep it. It's only a buck.
