IMG_1960.JPG IMG_1954.JPG IMG_1956.JPG IMG_1957.JPG IMG_1958.JPG IMG_1959.JPG I bought these a while back, put them up, got busy and hadn't done much with them since. I really like them and the history they came with. The envelopes are a pretty cool touch and stuck out for me when I saw them for sale. I image the bank token from 1812 riding over to the US with a British sailer during the war of 1812! Just figured I'd share some pictures.

Neat stuff. I just acquired a box of 75-100 pieces in old envelopes like that. These were assorted world. A quick look reveals some silver and a nice higher grade piece or two, but some of the coins are too darkly toned. I think I saw a 1973 purchase date on one of the envelopes. It will take a lot of work to sell this old collection lot but it might be worth it. This stuff looks to be 1- and 2-figure price material, so nothing big (that I'm aware of yet).

How many more of these do you have? Sixty years in those envelopes... wow. It's a wonder the coins aren't coal black.

Thank you they def are neat! Wow that sounds like a cool collection if you ever get the time post some pictures of them I'd love to see some of them. These are the only two I have unfortunately. I bid on several others but they just went way to high for me to be able to buy them. I got these 2 for what I feel was a great price. Some of the auctions ended at different times so I guess I just lucked out with these. They were actually kept inside another slip inside of the envelope so I guess it offered some protection from the paper.

1859 & 1876 Ebay. Old envelopes.JPG I picked these 2 up with old envelopes (I think the envelopes are from 19th century or close to it) a few years ago. It looks like someone sold or bought them in 1970 after being in a collection for years.

Beautiful old-fashioned handwriting on the last two envelopes with the Canada Victoria cents.
