Here is my newest! Been wanting this semi, semi-key in an MS grade for quite a while! Under 1-million minted and actually pretty scarce in grades higher than this :)

Thank you right kindly, Frank! It might even be time to change my avatar.....the dateless 1917 isn't quite as nice, lol

Since I haven't posted for a while there are a few other keepers I managed to add to the hoard. Here is another semi, semi-key.....the 1885 3-CN is extremely rare as a business strike, having the lowest mintage of the series at only 1,000 coins struck. In MS-65 it would be a $9k coin. The Proof version has a mintage of 3,790 and carries only a very small premium in 65, so you might be able to guess which version I bought :)

One more for today! It's not a rare date, but the color and condition are just super nice! Not sure of the VAM, but would guess an R-1 knowing my luck with those, lol

My best guess is this ;)

1829, O-110, Large Letters, Capped Bust, Half Dollar
Variety Attribution: Obverse-Date is 8 3/4 mm. 9 shows re-cutting at right. Lips are parted to half depth of mouth.
Reverse- 50 C. is 1 1/4 mm. and high. Arrow to A is 3/4 mm. Right sides of T-I in line. Letters of legend are large, with words crowded together. A scant 3/4 mm. between UNITED and STATES. Line 3 stripe 4 well below shield. This is reverse P used in 1828.

That looks to be an R-2, so at least I'm getting better then. Thank you so much for the attribution @McBlzr
I shall add it to the holder :)

    A few recent pickups:

A deeply toned 1905-S/S Half Eagle with lots of luster that I couldn't pick up in the images.
