Happy Anniversary, Fitz! I will remember this thread as where I found the term for what we can now call 'The Drift'. Exactly how all that went down will be a memory for those of us who made it happen. I had been a CT member for a little while but found it boringly modern. When you want to liven up a party, bring friends.
Okay, I have photographed the two Coins I received recently - both Provincials (gonna be a while before the medieval coin shows up...) Provincial Rome - Thrace Caracalla, r. 198-217 A.D. Congrats @FitzNigel for the anniversary. I've been a member here for almost 12 years now, but have to confess having much much more fun since a certain group of naughty guys arrived here like a plague of locusts (thus posting ten times more...) Q
Locusts posting roaches you call us. It is good that we have thick exoskeletons. A/M/K coins tend to be pretty, sweet and first rate. Go figure. Congrats on your two year anniversary FitzNigel, I have enjoyed your comments and posts in my short (compared to most) eleven months on CT.
Thanks guys - it's been fun to have a nice group to talk coins with. Lord knows my wife isn't interested, and I can't have real conversations with my students (but maybe my planned assignment may change that...) Thanks for the link @TIF - I was trying to find that thread and was failing!
