Are you sure it's Alexander III? How do you know? I have one I thought was from one ruler but turned out to be another based on a small detail... Purchased as a Phillip II - turned out to be a Lysimachus
For my coin, I think the horse looks like the "Alexander III The Great 336BC Ancient Greek Coin APOLLO Healer HORSE i32123" on this page: http://www.ebay.com/gds/Alexander-I...cedonian-King-Guide-/10000000204678622/g.html (Search for "Sear 6744")

Yes, I bought a lot of five Philip II coins last year. All have a different symbol on the reverse. As far as your coin, I really have to idea off hand. Sorry.

They come in all four orientations. I once collected a set of them as such.. The only rare one is left/left.
Heidi-Ho Neighbor! I have a LEFT-LEFT Philip II! Thanks for pointing out it is Rare. Cool! And it has been one of my more favorite coins anyway.
This one just came in the mail today. I've never had such a shiny ancient before, man this one was hard to photograph. I'll probably have to work on it.
