GTG: 1899-O Morgan Dollar

    This will probably be my last GTG for a little bit. This one came from a local bullion shop. When I saw it in hand, I just had to take it home with me. :)

    MS 65 ...very clean obverse fields and nice rim toning

    VAM-18A. Check the die gouge outside the (eagle's) right leg.

    Nailed it!! I'm glad I had VAM'd it before you. LOL :) At least I got it correct.

    The slanted date and tilt of the MM make it easy to narrow down. :)

    Well struck, lustrous, and pretty clean. The problem is that the marks are on the focal area of the obverse which I think takes gem grade off the table. This is an MS64+ for me.

    ...Yes...also a year and MM with many die problems so this one gets the + for that alone withever grade it gets ;)

    Solid MS64, shot at 65. It's a shame that mint mark is so large....
