Help Required on this US Note

    I know absolutly nothing else about this one!! I think it is genuine but I cant say for sure, even if it is not I dont mind LOL

    I think it is genuine, but it may be pieces from more than one note. The pieces have been glued to a second piece of paper to provde a support but the pieces do not appear to fit together. This may be a case where someone has assembled a note out of framents he had of other notes. The fragments by themselves were worthless so they pieced then together to try and create a single whole note that they could pass.

    Thanks Condor I have had confirmation from another collector that it is genuine & worth about $20 in this condition which is great news for me I only paid 50c aprox for it LOL Under the microscope the front is a all one piece and looks like it was slit across the center then added to the backing!

    The one I have was glued to an old newspaper clipping with notices about runaway slaves, etc. I could look at these (and have all there was) as I'm originally from that area.
