The editor of Coin World announced today that they would be shutting down their Forum site on the 30 of Dec. I have invited the CW Forum members to join CoinTalk Forums and I hope you will make these folks feel at home. They are a good group of collectors. Thank you kindly, JD White
Wow, that's interesting. I wonder why? I'm sure GD will fill us in. Well, hopefully a bunch of them will come over and make CoinTalk a more lively and interesting forum!!
The ones who only post there may have a little trouble getting used to a forum where the newest post is at the bottom instead of the top.
Yeah, LOL. Actually, that's one of the annoying things for me about that forum when I would lurk in there from time to time.
I can certainly attest to the fact that there are lots of great people signed-up over at that site. To all of them: Welcome aboard.
That's easily adjusted by each member to have it show the way they want it to show. Just select ascending or descending order
Actually JD can fill you in much better than I - he was the site owner & administator I just hung out there
I hate moving!!! But it seems I was being evicted by Coin World and I hope my CW family moves in here as well! Anyway I NOW have a new place to call home and that is 100 times better than being homeless!!! Hello everyone!!!
Coin World, isn't that the site where someone is always talking about some law regarding the minting of coins designs or something
I was saddened and disappointed today when I saw Coin World was about to pull the plug on its forum. My spirits improved greatly when I learned of this new forum, and found that many of my friends from the old forum will be switching over. I really look forward to the new forum, and hope many of the "old gang" is here! Gary Burke
Howdy and Welcome to all my old friends from Coin World Coin Talk is not exactly new - it's been around for quite some time. But the atmosphere and the friendly members are much the same as it was on the CW forum. The rules are a bit different - you can do a few things here that you couldn't do at CW - like post links to eBay auctions for the purposes of discussion and links to other sites that you couldn't post there. But there are rules - and they are enforced. So please read them and become familiar with them. And if you have any questions - just ask. Either myself or one of the other Moderators will be more than happy to help ya out I'm sure you guys will all like it here - I know I do
Hi everybody! Count me in with the CoinWorld refugees. I see some names I recognize, but a lot of you are new to me. I feel like the new kid in school... This is gonna take some getting used to, but bear with me, OK? Rachel
Welcome For all of you who are new to our forum Welcome. I am fairly new myself and the members here have been nothing but helpful Richard
