    Here's a denarius like @Cucumbor's and @maridvnvm's. An enigmatic coin, both for the occasional "VSV" in the exergue, and nobody seems to know what Venus is holding. Venus Felix is often shown holding a cupid or an apple, but that doesn't look to be the case on this type (though it's often described in one of these ways, or as "a seated figure"). To me it looks like a sphere set on top of a tripod, cone, or pyramid. Maybe the sun on a tripod of Apollo? Some connection to Sol/the sun seems possible, given its importance to Aurelian.
