To celebrate the morning's resuscitation of the forum (...:angelic:...), I'll now be giving away Coin C in the pic below. If you missed out on the first two giveaways, or missed winning a coin, feel free to throw your name in for this one!

    Giveaway - Roman 1.jpg

I'll be receiving names until the end of Wednesday (May 24th) and will announce the winner on Thursday morning.

    Same notes as before:
    - I'll send the coin to anyone anywhere, just do please let me know when you receive it.
    - Please participate only if you have an interest in ancient coins, otherwise, please give someone else the chance to win.
    - I've attributed all the coins, but unless requested, will not include the info with the coin so you can have the fun of doing the attribution yourself :).
    - Just to emphasize again : this giveaway is ONLY for Coin C in the picture above.

Yeah, I noticed that forum was gone. Glad to have it back.

    This is not an entry.

Yes, please, I would like to have a chance to have that ancient coin. Looks scrumptious! What a nice way to be welcomed back to CT! (I think I experienced some light 'CT withdrawal' symptoms last night!)

Aw - thanks @Alegandron! You're gonna make me tear up... (in the liquid way, not the ripping way...)

Very kind @TIF and @Bing - however, I am starting to worry that this might become unfair... ultimately I leave it to @zumbly's discretion for people joining for my benefit, but I would hate to take away from someone who would be interested.

(Whatever Zumbly decides - you guys are the best! And I'm not above taking private donations! I will be making some myself, of course, and will hopefully find a reasonably priced stash of romans at the Raleigh Money Expo in two weeks to get the number I need...)

I too am glad CT is up again. I'm a slow learner. I tried about 30 times to get on CT last night before finally deciding the forum was down.

I tried a few times, but gave up and went back to my book. I figured it would be back up this morning.

Dude... I am known to be quite a stoic person, especially in negotiations. I was all teared / tore up when folks were donating in the tournament. Everyone were amazing.

Throw my name in the hat, sweet coin of Maxentius! I actually don't have any of Maxentius yet so it would fill a hole in my collection. What a great idea you've had with the giveaway. I might be inspired to do the same - did anybody say FEL TEMP REPARATIO?
