    Nice looking coin! Is the size and weight correct?... it seems a little small and light for the period, but at the same time have almost all details on the flan. Off the top of my head I would think 26-28mm and 9-12g the correct range for a Nero as. I don't think this is a common issue, did they grow smaller and lighter toward the latter half of his reign?

    It is indeed a very nice coin.

    To answer your question, zumbly, this rough Victory As of Nero was minted in 66 AD its 9,15 gram and 26mm.

    Why both GENIO AUGUSTI are underweight and smaller , no idear , but both are beautifull coins, congrats ro1974

    The brass ones are smaller than the bronze ones - this is mine (RIC 220 - 7.2g)
