ID Help Barbaric style

    The style isn't barbaric-- the condition is.

    You'll probably be able to identify this coin-- or at least narrow it down-- by searching with a couple of obvious key words: "grapes" (or "grape cluster") and "Dionysos". Try typing those two search terms into CNG's archives.

    I don't know. There are many small bronzes with Dionysos/grape cluster. I don't think you can declare a match to the first somewhat similar coin you find, especially since you can't see much of the reverse legend on your coin. The best you may be able to do is narrow it down to a few possible matches after a thorough search of archives.

    Also, you didn't tell us the size and weight. That piece of information is necessary.

    I did the CNG search that I recommended to you in my first post and in those results I came across other possible matches from different cities.

    Try the CNG search with terms grapes, Dionysos, AE.

    You're probably right (if the size/weight is within range). I didn't notice the T-A on your coin :)
