These are going to PCGS soon. I think XF45 on the 1810, XF40 on the 1832. We shall see. Both have sufficient luster that you often see on AU50 coins, but the wear is in the XF range. What do you think? I haven't checked varieties yet.

Both are nice. While not an expert, I think you graded them fairly.

Anything 200+ years old that looks that good deserves some appreciation. :)

I'll go with your grades on both. Nice coins. I love the obverse of the 1810.

I think XF Details on the 1810. It just looks a little unnatural to me.

    I agree with XF40 on the 1832.

    Unnatural as in cleaned?

I think both will pass at a TPG. I tend to agree with XF on the coins.

    I think the 1810 is XF-40 Overton 101a
    and the 1832 is XF-45 Overton 103

I like the 1810 very much, but I see a lot of what looks like hairlines on the obverse that makes me wonder if it was cleaned. They both seem to be in the XF range and very lovely to look at :)

I fear they may call it cleaned, yes.

They won't but I would. It isn't original, but that does not matter to the TPGs anymore.

yes, the 1810 is an O-110.
the weakness in the center of the drapery is normal to the strike.

and is evident in Overton on both the O-101 & O-101a

    nice coins

Based on the wear level on my own 1809 graded xf45 by PCGS and wCAC, I think you might be at xf40 on the 1810 and vf30 or 35 on the 1832. Can't wait to see the result though. Here's my xf45: 1809 capped bust 50c III XF45 w CAC composite.jpg

I'm sure it was just a typo, but before someone gets confused the 1810 is an O-101.

Nice coins but hard to give you a good answer. I have seen 1810 coins with similar details to yours in everything from 35 to 45 holders. the 1832 looks 40 to 45 to me. I have been trying to find an 1810 for about 8 months now but have had no luck. Congrats on yours.

Well, I got it backwards according to PCGS. They graded then the following:
    1810 XF40
    1832 XF45
