My First Republican Bronze Came Today, How Did I Do?

    You did great. The Janus / galley prow is a classic. I collect the imperial portrait series, not republican coins, but i needed one coin to represent the era, and this was the type I chose. Here's mine:

    Really nice coin! Smooth, even patina. Good chunk of detail. I don't think you could go wrong.

    I look forward to seeing this one in hand when I creep upstairs from your basement and into your inner sanctum to steal back my Hadrian sestertius, ATG tet, and King John penny. ;)

    (All the while holding fast to the Æthelred II penny so you can't steal that one back from me.)
