    It's not listed in any of my guides, but the tokencatalog.com information above is awesome.

    FYI, I checked Lipscomb, which is the Ohio token guide, and this is not listed (under Cincinnati).

    It is a coal scrip token. I'm not sure but I believe it may have been used at more than one mine. The token catalog ling above seems to show one as the second item from Coxton KY, but it show a very similar one from Beards Fork WV. Koppers Store seems to have been associated with several mines and locations.

    The catalog for these is Edkins Catalog of United States Coal Company Store Scrip Vol 1 West Virginia and Vol 2 Other States. For a long time these were not easy books to get a hold of, but a new edition has been printed.

    What time period is this from?

    Probably made by the Osborne Company in Cincinnati Ohio in the 20's. There are a ton of these on ebay, in various denominations.
