Neat die Crack, plus nice old holder (Gold, what else??)

    Got this nice old ANA style holder today.. I love these things! I also noticed this 1927 $2 1/2 I just got in has a cool die crack running though the date. I guess that's what the little blob is??

    I can't think of a time where I've ever seen a die crack on a Gold Indian. Perhaps I just haven't been looking closely enough, but that is really neat! Well struck coin too.

    As for the blob, haven't a clue. Reminds me of a tiny cud.

    Yep, looks like the crack just continues over the 2 on the date.
