I departed from my usual Republican and Greek purchases in order to bid on this very nice Herennius Etruscus with clasped hands. It appears to be a popular and unusual type of a relatively scarce ruler, so I thought I would bid. I wanted it badly enough that I placed a fairly high max bid. As it turned out, my max was much higher than the hammer price. Thanks for looking.

Wow, Big-bro => that's a fantastic clasped-hands addition (I love that coin-type) I have two coins to add to your sweet thread ... Herennius Etruscus, AR Antoninianus 250-251 AD Marius, Antoninianus 269 AD Hmmmm, it is quite interesting to see the change in the "silver content" between these two antoninianii, eh?
Bing, your thread motivated me to process the pics of a recent-ish arrival, a classic denarius of Nerva with clasped hands on the reverse. I'd always wanted one of these . NERVA AR Denarius. 2.88g, 17.4mm. Rome mint, AD 97. RIC 14; Cohen 20. O: IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TR P COS III P P, laureate head right. R: CONCORDIA EXERCITVVM, clasped hands. I actually found one of my coins has clasped hands! It is purdy ruddy, but the hands are there! RI Marius 269 Gallic Usurper BI Ant CONCORD MILIT Clasped Hands ex: one of @John Anthony 's search-and-destroy missions with me... (I love those missions...)
That's a very good question. In many cases such a theme represents a marriage (but not this type). While the legend is clear the type in its entirety in all likelihood represents concord between the legions.
