1955 D/s Omm-006

I just got my new Nikon 990 and took a picture of a 1955 D/S I just cherry picked today.

It appears to me to be an OMM-006.

What does everyone else think?

This camera is really cool. Picked it up off ebay. Purchased an adaptor to connect to my microscope. The sky's the limit now!

Fantastic Pic. Can't say for sure if this is the OMM-006 as I am not familiar with this over mintmark, but wanted to say great pic

 

Great picture! Unfortunately, I don't have any specialized books (yet) for Jefferson nickels so I can't help with the attribution. I looked around some on the web and couldn't find anything definitive. I'm sure someone will be around soon that will be able to give you some answers.

 

I believe it is OMM-008.

I'm not a variety specialist, and would advise you to wait for one to chime in, though.

BTW, nice camera work.

I can agree with OMM#8 as well, but I wouldn't rule out OMM#4 either.
