    Aurelian (270-275) was a busy man, finally defeating the breakaway Gallic empire and the Palmyrene empire of Zenobia, as well as inflicting a crushing defeat on the Alamanni. He was the first emperor to be hailed officially as dominus et deus, foreshadowing the elevation of the emperor to god-like status initiated by Diocletian. Here is a humble member of my collection. Feel free to post your Aurelians!

    It looks like my reverse type is the same ORIENS AVG with two captives at the feet of Sol, condition of mine isn't so hot, though.

    Yes same coin ,same mint XXIP. If we stick your reverse and my obverse together we have a nice coin :)
