Yes. But I use a tiny 60x loupe. I can see better with my eye problems. You can order one on eBay for a few dollars from China. Here's the one I use.

Oh okay I was just wondering because I was looking at one of your pictures the other day and it looks like it was taking through a loop. So I just wanted to know what you are using. I have to use digital microscopes because I ruined my eyes using a loop.

That is not good about your eyes. Digital does great too if you can get the right set up.

May I ask what type (brand, magnification, etc if known) you used?

Low quality glass can be very stressful on the eyes, yes, and is only exacerbated when used often. If you prefer loupes, I would respectfully suggest looking into high quality glass. While quite costly, using one made by Eschenbach or Zeiss very well could make all the difference, and your eyes would thank you for it.

Please correct me if wrong, but I assume you're referencing this one?

Very, very cool, Sheila! And as always, a heartfelt congratulations! This is what, the second or third time you've had a find used in his column?

I've said it many times before, but you continue to be an excellent example for those new to the hobby, and particularly those interested in varieties. Kudos!

And the Wexler link for anyone so inclined...

You would be correct on the coin reference. Thank you very much. This will be the second time I will be in Wexler's column.
