According to most descriptions its Victory holding a shield inscribed VIC PAR mounted on a palm tree or palm trunk. All I can see is a mini-my from Victory herself under the shield. *Coin was issued in 166 AD in honour of Lucius Verus finally defeating the Parthians
But the coin looks like in hand as in my original picture, Bing As a favour I enlarged and added some colour to your picture
I hope you didn't take offense, but for some reason, many images are very dark on my monitor. I have to lighten them to see much of the detail as I did with yours. Besides, ole Bing looks good in color, eh?
No offense taken, but on my monitor with the pic enlarged it looks OK. But from now on I will post 2 pictures of the same coin, watch for the special Bing sticker ! Sir Bing looks like an Englishman from New York in the picture. From the same seller another Sestertius:
Why, thank you. I'm gettin' old so any help for the eyes is appreciated (I do have an optometrist appointment next week). BTW, nice looking Sestertius, but I like it better in the first image.
