Flew in to visit Mom this Mothers' Day weekend and of course hit my branch banks there on Friday. Bought 23 loose halves and found (1) 40%er. A different branch bank had 5 rolls that the teller said came in loose and he hand wrapped. Said he disliked 50 cent pieces because nobody asked for them and was happy to sell them to me. My Mom and I had been going through my recently deceased Dad's collection of silver halves which I bought from her. So, I asked Mom to open the first roll and it had (8) 90%ers & (1) 40%ers. She was thrilled! The other rolls contained the rest of these silver Kennedys, 24 in all.

Correction - looks like a 1967 snuck into my top row, so (7) 90%ers, lol....

Thanks John Doe. My Dad got me interested in coin collecting fifty something years ago. Was D.J.B. your father?

No kidding. I work at a bank and we NEVER get those in. OR anything really even close. Most people know the value of coins...even up here in Maine! lol. Good find
