Can you explain the date 'year 90'? I went looking on past CNG sales and found a couple marked 97AD but with no explanation. I see nothing that suggests it was an issue half a century after Claudius lived so I would have expected some clue in the listings. https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=251753
Evan, congrats on your sweet OP-addition => here is my Claudius AE As (Minerva with shield and spear)
I'm guessing this was a typo and "97" refers to Year 97 of the Caesarean Era (= AD 48/49). However, I've no idea how catalogers would have even dated these since I don't see dates on any of the SC types, but some other issues of the city such as this one and this one showed dates by Caesarean Era year.
A nice addition, Evan. Like it a lot! This is one of my favorite Claudius - Ta,n green and earthen deposits, what else can you ask for.
