rvance - That is a very interesting error coin. Can't say that I have ever seen one quite like it. There is no doubt that it has been double struck - perhaps even tripled. But errors are not my forte so I wouldn't say for sure without examining the coin in person. I would suggest you contact the folks at Error World. They should be able to provide you with much better info than I can. They even have a Club Forum here on this site.
