One of a couple of FEL TEMPS that arrived today. A common enough coin but another one to add to my hoard. The obverse has a few hard green encrustations which are a little distracting. The reverse has evidence of a clashed die in the fields. I have seen much discussion on this over the years. Most seem to believe that the globe is a representation of the cosmos. Whether the cosmos was geocentric or heliocentric is another debate.
Nice coin, I've been eyeing this type for a little while now. Think I saw one on VCoins with a marking to the right of the Phoenix. May eventually pick one up.
Another one of the Fel Temp types I don't have. I would love to learn more about the globe as the cosmos.
