$5 Gold - 2014 Eagle - MS 69 - CoinTalk Contest Win - NGC #03

Hi all,
Ok.. So I will do one more thread today!
Here is coin #3 I want to show that I received back from NGC.

For those who remember back in 2014 there was a contest to win this $5 Dollar Gold Eagle. I won the competition! My first gold ever!

Well here it is certified with a beautiful grade of MS 69!

YES!
I noticed that right away. Bummer. NGC did that with a few other coins also.
They got sloppy when inserting the coins.
You will see in my future threads They suck!

 

I can't fault them completely because the only horizontal reference point on the obverse is the date, and it isn't that big.

There is a coin and currency dealer called Lost Dutchman Rare Coins - http://www.ldrcoins.com/
They started a contest here on CoinTalk where they showed some old currency and we were instructed to give them the serial number.. it was very simple. I was somehow miraculously chosen.. I never win anything.. and I won!
