I got this coin, and at first look it looks like a Roosevelt dime (1988) but after further inspection it looks like there is also a Jefferson nickel on it. Can anyone tell me what this could be please!?
It got squeezed in a pretty strong press along with a nickel, after it left the mint. Called PMD (post mint damage). No added value and in this case, you may have trouble proving that it's actually a dime.
Looks like maybe a melt job. Whether the coins were pressed or melted together, it happened after the coins left the mint
