Morgan PL or not PL?

    Yeah 10 should work fine. Wouldn't go any bigger than that though. Years ago we used to say newspaper print, and I'm pretty sure that's bit smaller than 10, but probably not much.

    Once you know PL & DMPL surfaces a finger or thumb works just fine. I haven't used newsprint for a while.

    A very nice coin....maybe a PL but barely makes a 64.

    Here's a couple more photos I took this afternoon. My main concern is the reverse rim. Considering sending it back for that reason but the recent posts suggesting it may be prooflike have me second guessing. Still can't capture what it looks like in hand.

    Definitely NOT proof like from those recent photos. The seller's picture is taken to maximize reflectivity, which is a common trick. Based on the photos above, I would say upgradable, due to deep scratches on the obverse, and would say it is a damaged coin. MS details--damaged.
