ive been trying to keep up with all the "coin news" about ordinary coins selling for $thousands$, just for the condition. I have a few nice looking coins but not sure if they are worth keeping. Is this 1984 D Lincoln worth keeping? ?

Any info would be greatly appreciated:)

I can take microscope pics too if needed. The photos I'm showing here were taken from an iPad.

    Thanks

I'm not feeling confident in my grading skills. What grade would this coin be ?

    Thanks for looking :)

It's probably in the 64 range, it looks like. Although I'm not great at grading Lincolns

If you are collecting the set in an album, you could keep it until you find a better one. To me anything after 1958 is worth 1 cent. With a few exceptions.
1960 small date Philly. 1982 small date zinc. 1983 copper (very rare).
Some of those WIDE or CLOSE AM varieties which I can't be bothered with.
Occasionally you can find a well struck, MS coin which might have value, but coins that have been machine counted and machine wrapped are always going to have nicks and scratches on them even when they look very good.

Yes, I am collecting in albums, but mostly searching for something unique and perhaps valuable. I really enjoy the hunt and I'm very greatful for the these coin forums. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated:)
