After 10 month of looking, I finally found a 1912-S. APMEX had one listed on their site. Only problem with that was I had to pay tax on it. However, after 10 months, that only upset me a little. Also managed to get a 1915- from eBay for $18. I do not know what they though was wrong with it. I think (hope) that they both grade 63. Do you agree? Note - The 15 is not as red as the pictures and definitely has no corrosion and the 12-S is redder that the pictures.
As I always say, I'm no expert, but those coins look almost like they were sandblasted with a fine grain to make them appear brilliant? Is that possible? It looks like there's tiny holes throughout the surface, unless that's just the pictures.
That is my camera. It is not the coin. I got the 1915- for $18 from eBay. I don't understand, but I am not arguing. The 1912-S set me back $255 including the tax.
VERY impressive. More so impressive is the fact that they have a family of OTHER Lincolns that look just like 'em!!! nice coins, and I am sure a very nice set!!
