"Two of a Kind" recarved coins

    These coins were supposed to go to the same collector, but ended up going to two different collectors..look close, one,s a jefferson nickel, the other is a washington quarter...

    I was thinking a DVD/VHS or somethign that shows this being done! I cant imagine the amount of work and concentration that goes into these, let alone the creativity.

    Billzach, those are fantastic !

    Question....

    Have you ever done any of this with a rotary tool ?
    I have a diamond tip bit, I used for detailed glass carving, that I have been considering trying on coins.
    I imagine that some of the normal bits could be used in roughing in your design, but you'd go in with the traditional tools to finish.
    Just curious.
