1957 D wheat penny error?

    Hi :) I'm new to this but happy to hear all of your thoughts. I have a wheat penny from 1957 and there are some errors on the front. In the 3oclock position, there is a smudge coming out front the border.. And it also looks like there is drool coming from his mouth and a patch like mark on his shirt.. Is this worth anything?

    I think the 3 oclock mark is just a hit, but the mouth and chest thing is (I think) a lamination error. Worth a few bucks, but don't quit your day job. More knowledgeable people will be along shortly.

    Agree with Kentucky on the lamination error. I can not say on the 3 O'clock for sure.
