...is a 1936 Buffalo nickel slabbed by NNC. The coin was graded by them as MS65 and I must say that when I bid on it I was somewhat skeptical. But, now that I have it in hand, I must say I agree with their grade. I know most folks on here feel that any coin slabbed by a company other than PCGS, NGC, ANACS, or ICG has got to be overgraded. But this Buffalo nickel looks sharp. I really think it might be a MS65! For $17.51 delivered, what is your opinion on the coin and this deal?
if you like it i like it its ultimately how much you like the coin and not what number someone else has put on it
I do like it. I also suspect I got it for less than half what a comparable speciman would have sold for in a NGC or PCGS slab. I mean look what these folks paid: http://cgi.ebay.com/1936-Buffalo-5C...ryZ11954QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/1936-BUFFALO-NI...ryZ11954QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
you did well, you can always find bargains in off tier tpg, that is why I buy the coin, if I don't care for the tpg I'll just crack the coin and put it in my album.
