    No, it's Reverse of 1879 (C Reverse). The angled, non-parallel top arrow fletch is proof positive. The B Reverse (Reverse of '78) has that arrow fletch parallel to the others.

    To my eye, heavily worn and heavily polished, unfortunately. I cannot imagine it being worth twice the silver melt value (currently around $12.50).
