My very first cud...(tear in my eye)

    I'm only showing the obverse because the reverse is...well...sending out for restoration tomorrow. This cud actually appears to be listed as an LC-ND-57 or a CU-1c-ND-02 (Cu)19xx, depending on the cud list you use. cud.jpg

    What's wrong with the reverse? Distortions such as weak, stretched or missing letters or a depression opposite a large cud are normal and indicators that the cud is authentic.

    If we don't see the reverse we can only assume that there is putty on the obverse.:)

    No putty, but needs a' cleanin'. Lots of die cracks on the reverse, especially in STATES. cud2.jpg

    Found it in a bag of change my sister had in her closet for about 8 years.
