I'm closing in on my mint set of huts with this new one from Rome; 11/13 now.

Nice coins. I have to agree with TIF once again. The Constans is quite nice.

I always get a kick out of the coins like your Rome hut where the encircling legend intersects the field design. It appears the N was cut in the reverse field before the REPARATIO was and the O had to be spaced further around than might seem appropriate. look how tightly spaced all the letters are until you get to the T----I-----O.

I could not agree with the comments above more. I would also say the Hut reverse is my favorite type of Constans.

There are certain themes on ancient coins that get me every time, anything with founders plowing on Greek Imperials, common animals like cows and dogs and any late Roman with Germanic/barbarian people on it.

    Thanks all!

I just need Lyon and Alexandria, though both are in the mail (hopefully im not jinxing myself). It will be a mix of Constantius II and Constans, but a more complete set than my Horseman. For that, I am aiming for a larger coins from each mint and still lack a large one from Trier.
