The mint has gotta be kidding with this reverse design. I just personally do not like it. USMC60 I should have put this one under my thread works of art.
There's far worse. That's at least accurate the subject was just awful. They've gooned ones that could have been amazing far far worse
You think for the price that they pay for these machines We should get a better design. So far as collectors we only seen a sample of what this milling machine can do. usmc60
Overall I completely agree. I am often very critical of the designs they pick. It's just in this case they really do look like that and them making them in a fantasy pattern would be even sillier.
Maybe because it's so horrible, this will become a favorite. I've seen Chuck E. Cheese tokens with better designs.
It's Iowa. That is seriously as interesting as it gets... unless you are interested in pig farms and corn.
I got the Frederick Douglas today. (Metal detecting) but it's in nice shape, must have been a recent drop. Still haven't gotten an Effigy Mounds. Gonna hit the credit union for 5 rolls, maybe I can get a Monsieur Charles E. Fromage quarter.
I remember similar ones that didn't have the relief. They would've displaced Wisconsin for "flattest design ever placed into circulation". Edit: Here we go. IA-13 and IA-14 are the ones I had in mind.
