Modern Hobo carving on a 2015-D Bombay Hook ATB quarter. (Only kinda-sorta relevant to a Washington quarter thread, I guess.)

This NY state quarter appears to be missing its copper clad layer. Any thoughts on this? Would love to have any ideas of value. FYI the goldish color is just bad lighting. There is no gold plating. It's also not silver (Philadelphia mint, and doesn't meet weight for a silver state quarter).
I had a buddy once used chrome paint on some 1977 Lincoln cents. It made them look brand new, and stick to magnets. I'd call the mint, see if the wrong planchets were used. Good luck Mr.
Hi mynamespat, may I ask what type of scanner would you of used for the coin holdered coins? I can't get my flatbed scanner to work proficiently as I would like, given the ones in PCGS coin holders , please?
What do you think is wrong with it? Looks like an ordinary circulated quarter to me. Maybe point out the error you see.
I kinda like the eagle. I had a penny hanging from my key ring. Now I have a quarter with the reverse facing up.
