Considering the "G.O.P" (Grand Old Party) on one side, I'd say it's a political token. Better photos, tightly cropped, might get you more info.

 

GOP is for Grand Old Party.

Looks like an Lincoln medal, but it is unlike the one that I got from the mint back when I was a wee lad.

 

So it would be very old then. There is no info online about this piece. Do you need cropped image still?

Yes, i did the same once it was confirmed by you folks. I just wish it had higher value. I also have a brasher doubloon replica. Turns out it has no value.... oh well, ill keep looking! I think i just caught the coin collector bug! Thanks again!
