Well I took a few pics of one of my coins, Constantius II. Obverse: bust of Constantius. Reverse: VOT XX MVLT XXX. I obtained this coin from an uncleaned hoard of LRB that I bought. I used a Google Pixel XL phone, laying the coin on a sheet of white paper. Excuse the fact that I haven't cropped the image, still have to figure out how to do that. Anyway, it's my first ever coin pic!

You need to get closer to the coin, even if I crop this the coin is too fuzzy. To be honest though you lost a lot of photo to your background, your camera certainly has the capability. This is a better first attempt then most folks can produce. So I say keep at it and good job.

oh and you can use MS paint to crop and attach your photos its easy and free99.

I use Paint to crop and resize my photos. I resize them to 1000 pixels wide.

Not bad for a first attempt! Keep at it. It can become a fun side hobby.
