I have a grade in mind that I consider it would net grade. Just wanting to hear from others their opinions. What value would you place? The reason I ask is that after studying several coins on E bay as well other sites the grades seem to be all over the map. The coins compared are graded specimens , and in the same ballpark, however they range from vg-vf-3,from both NGC/PCGS. @Seattlite86
I would grade F-15 at minimum to VF-20 at most from the picture. I am not the best looking at pictures.
Looks like USDA Prime to me. What's that? He meant the coin? Oh, sorry. F12. That's net reduced because of the porosity. Without that, it's maybe a VF20.
Net VG10 is my wag do to the porosity and PMD. Actual grade vf20 it may be in the 25-30 dollar range on ebay.
Thanks for your input...I have this at F-12/F-15. The images with the scope makes it look porous as well the stains of dirt of 99 years of circulation . When checking e bay they were all over the map in raw but even more so in graded. I was seeing coins with half the details ,date,Liberty , etc that got grades IMHO were so wrong. The reasoning behind the purchase was lack of seeing key and semi keys at local coin shops or shows with detail ,or lack seeing them at all. It seems that certain years mid to late teens though mid 20's in vf - xf aren't really available . I do see better dates graded, but seldom raw coins with full details worth buying .
