    As primarily a collector of larger world coins, I would pick the pillar 8 reales any day. Not that the three cent piece isn't nice as well, but it's just not really my thing. As for what you should do, I would go for whichever one you like more!

    Im getting the feeling that this poll, while a good idea at the time, wont really solve anything. Ultimately it will be up 2 u 2 decide, and, i have a feeling u WILL make the trade. Why? Because, while still cool, 1 is small, and nickel, they other is large, silver and very historical

    Yes, I flubbed and made an important typo, here.

    Must've been wishful thinking. LOL

    The 3cN is a CAM, not a DCAM. Oops.

    (Hey, I do 90% of my posting on graveyard shift, in the wee hours. That's my excuse, and I'm stickin' to it.) ;)

    If I posted a pic of that 8R without showing the slab everyone would say it has been cleaned, because of the hair lines. Personally you have a dilemma that I would struggle with two of my favorite coins. The nickel has les eye appeal. I'd go 8R. SMB.

    Update: the deal went down. I shipped the 3cN off to my swap partner this morning.

    The Pillar dollar/8R arrived yesterday. It is nicer in hand. I have no regrets.

    I don't think the other person will have any regrets, either, for the 3cN is also slightly nicer in hand, I think. (And he knows in advance that it is a CAM and that "DCAM" stuff was posted in error.)
