Maybe in all the hype, common date and worn wheats will skyrocket in value from 3 cents to 4 cents each! Our hoards will finally pay off!
I think the 15D is very undervalued in higher circ grades. Try finding them. Are you sure about the 2009 S VDB ? I had heard thet a few years ago but I'm not able to substantiate it now. Paul

Eventually the State Quarters will all be dumped back into circulation by the many people that have hoarded them by the roll. Right now they are a novelty but soon enough they will be just dumped back into circulation. I'm still recovering from the stupid BiCentennial Quarter stuff. Myself and many others hoarded those back in the 70's. Now all dumped into banks.
They thought Washington was on the Canadian Coins????????
When they changed the design of currency to "Big Heads" many truckers told me that they had a hard time using them especially in the south (no offense anyone) because they were counterfeit. Cashiers wouldn't take them.
I can believe that easily enough. I run into that here in Illinois. Tell them to try to spend a $2 bill.
Yep, most of my state quarters are now in circulation. Have 28 rolls of circ Bi-Centennials that I paid face for. My friends dad died and I went through the collection for his mom. He actually did have some good stuff which they still have. He also had about $700 in circ $2 notes and a ton of the quarters. I paid face for the quarters then told my friend to combine it with the twos and take his mom out to the boats (gambling casinos). Wouldn't be surprised if it happened with the "new" cent. Still think the originals will do well though.
