If you are willing to settle for a slabbed 69, they seemed to have the lowest price from what I can tell.

Let's see I ordered 3 from the mint...they were back ordered...needed one for my set....order one on the bay, paid 115...sold my 3 when they arrived got a fair price for buyer and seller.
Net effect the 17S didn't really cost me anything plus I may have made a buck or two.
    I'm happy:D

Just got an eBay email with a seller cutting his price on a raw Congratulations set. He's sold 30 and has 84 remaining. Thought you guys would find that interesting.

Not at all in all honesty. He didn't sell fast enough and was a small quantity overall.

I've redirected my search to the 2016 Standing Liberty Gold which is selling in auctions just below $400 each, while it's still on USMINT.gov for $472.50.

Ya know? Us guys around here only ask for a crack at a few........sure some of us re-sell, but that's only to compensate for the original purchase. These fat boys (84 sets remaining?) are repugnant.

I know collectors around here flip a few. That's fine. These hogs are an entirely different matter. I'm with you: choke on them.

Statistically, these will continue to sell for a premium lest the mint cranks out another 500k of them. Will the premium hold at what it is now? Probably not for now. There are still future products that will have it included and possibly others product yet to be announced. We won't know for sure until the year ends. Looking back at other proof years where mintage was relatively low, the coins currently sell for modest premiums. Mid 90's proof eagles come to mine. I don't think these can be compared directly to other more recent products where speculators bought hoping to turn a quick profit. Silver eagles are quite popular with far more people willing to pay a premium.

The individual selling the coins may have also been asking too much to begin with and had to lower the price to move the merchandise. There are supposed to me more with the sort of annual special silver set, but you never know.

I got mine yesterday. Do the capsules come out of the cards or are they permanently attached?
