Well, for each nice looking 1882 there is a mediocre looking 1864

 

I still need New Orleans Mint Eagle! These are $$$$$ in MS-64/65!

 

I only have maybe 6 gold coins. any gold coin is a lot of $$$ for me. I just stick to cheap world crowns and anything Germany

 

I used to own this. cant find the reverse. 1798 US Dollar

1787 US Fugio Cent. this was my Holy Grail coin. I dreamed of owning this coin since I was little.

 

I don't think I've posted this one here yet. It recently occurred to my husband of 20+ years I might be interested in seeing a few treasures from his GF's sdb...and this was one of them. I don't collect much US, but I was interested! To say the least.

After listening to him talk about how he and the other kids used to play with the coins (dumping them out of the box over and over again ) I'm kind of surprised it's in as good shape. It's AU and cleaned, but it's still a proof trade dollar!

I have a small collection of "holed" US coins. I was excited to get this US 1875 20 Cents with a hole

 

That is a gorgeous $3 gold. A big hole in my collection.
