1999 Penny Close AM

    Have what's looks like 1999 NS penny, have attached couple zooms but not full picture of coin, left it at home, any thoughts? And site says I get a trophy if I post somewhere on this site lol.

    Congrats on at least having one of the varieties! So many new members post pics hoping for a variety that aren't even close!

    She doesn't have one of the varieties, sir. Unless 99%+ of 1999 cents are now considered a "variety", it is, unfortunately, just a regular coin.

    Lol! I guess that's why I long ago abandoned coin roll hunting....Those repunched MM's and missing pillars made me cross-eyed!

    More like a "type" The 1999 came as one "type" WAM, probably all from one die, and a second "type" CAM, from all the rest of the dies. They have the second type, which is extremely common.
