Based on markings on the rear- toning at 3:00, 9:00 and the dot below the C- I would say they are the same coin Richard
Nice coin Ro. Great detail. If you're bored you should comment on other people's threads instead of starting a new one just to delete it. Seems like there is not too much point in that Or maybe I misunderstood what you are trying to say...
i based it on nteressting/ deled it now i respont a lot on other members/ my expertise is to short to give a good advice
This is a great example of just how much lighting conditions and other factors can impact the appearance of a photograph. You see some photos that are like glamour shots of coins, the lighting is perfect, it is at the optimal angel and makes the coin look better than it ever will in hand...I hate those types of shots. I am certainly NOT an expert (or even very good) photographer, buy I do always strive for stark realism, especially if I am offering the coin for sale. My object is to document the coin as it really looks, not to create a work of art with my photograph.
... why are you trying to delete your thread? Ummm, but if you want to delete this thread, then just hit "report" at the bottom of your post and explain to the moderator that you want to shut-down this thread Or just fire-out a bunch of swear words and they'll close 'er down on ya!!
The moderators will very rarely delete a topic or thread. So if you post something, understand that it will stay.
Ro and all, as I have said many times~ Don't hit the 'post new thread button' or the 'post reply button', until you read it and ask yourself " Do I want this to be here for people to see years from now? ". Posts and threads are intended to be of value to future searchers for information and the ancients members are mostly excellent for doing that, I encourage them to keep it going. Also do not violate the rules just to get a post or thread removed. It may also end up removing you forever if your total 'demerits' go over the limit. Then you would be faced with being a troll like our other banned people. Not a happy life Jim
Everyday Doug swats and swats like the TrollBusters can, but they keep coming as they have those wispy memories of once being a real member of the ancient coin group, but now they reach out to touch the honorable and swat!! into cyberbits they go. Don't let that happen to you dear friends, it is worse than Bronze disease.
