Making the Queen Mum more presentable

    It's not a valuable coin by any stretch of the imagination, but I found it CRH'ing and I'd like to make it more presentable.

    Is there anything that can be done? Brass-wire Dremel tip? Soak in some magical liquid (ketchup, vinegar, etc.)?

    can you see what year it is ? 1960 ? 1950 ?

    Somewhere near the four o'clock position on the portrait side (technically the Queen is also a Queen Mum but they do not use that name this way ...) it does say 1980, yes. Don't think much can be done to make this piece look good again ;)

    Start with some lemon juice or vinegar for a few hours and see what happens.

    QEII would only be the Queen Mum if Charles was king already. Hopefully that will be a long time off - Vivat Regina!
