So decided to hit a local garage sale and they had a few pounds of coins in a jar for sale. Paid maybe 15-20 for the whole jar and was just sorting through them when I found this! Appears to be a 1991 Soviet Union Palladium 10 Ruble coin! Weighed in a 1/2 troy ounce, never found a palladium coin before but looks like I did pretty good
I have *never* seen coins at a yard sale. Do you guys *ask* if they have any? Or are they out on a table?
ALWAYS ask, especially at Estate Sales in the country. I asked at one Estate sale and was told they sold them at a coin shop, then asked if I was interested in Foreign coins. I said yes and they came back with a few 2 and 3 cent pieces mixed in with some foreign coins. Not in great shape but worth the "ask"
