Hi everyone, just jad a 1990 nickle looked at and was told its been hit 3 time on the "D" mintmark. I was told to hold on to it but not sure what all of it means. Any suggestions? Thanks
Well considering that in 1990 the mintmark was on either the master hub or master die and was no longer punched into the individual dies it CAN'T have been punched three times. So it is more likely just damage. Unfortunately the image isn't large enough or clear enough to really see it. After blowing up the image it definitely looks like damage to me.
